Looking For Wireless Router With The Most Rage

I am looking for a router that has the most range to use with my laptop for about $75 to $125 which wireless router do you recommond. Right now with my laptop using Air Link wireless card connection to a Linksys WRT54G router with a Hawking Tech hifi antenna connecto to the router I am 3 rooms 40ft to 50ft away from the router I am only getting about 50% signal strength. If I were to get a new router would it increase signal & speed on my latop.

You could try a wireless n router (802.11n). The draft 2 routers are guaranteed to be compatible with the final standard, and they give much better signal coverage and distance than wireless b or g routers.

If you're using a wireless g card on your PC/laptop then do check that the router you're buying does work with the older standards too. You can find a list of wireless n routers (Wireless N Router Reviews) and what specs they work with.
