Maximum wireless speed available with wireless router : dlink DIR 601
I bought a new Dlink DIR 601 wireless router (150 Mbps) and have a comcast broadband connection with 30 MBps speed. Once I configured the wireless router I had issues with the wireless speed download as I was getting only around 9 Mbps download speed.
I contacted the dlink tech support and they helped me reconfigure and I was able to reach 15Mbps download speed and after they told me that I will not get more than 50% of the actual download speed provided by the ISP(comcast here). So I'm stuck with 15 Mbps download speed with this wireless router. Is it true that I will not be able to get more than 15 Mbps with this router for the internet connection, if not I'm planning to buy a different router which can give me 30 Mbps download in wireless mode. Could you please suggest any router?
