Default Is merging wireless connections possible?

Ok, so I get my internet through a wireless network from my university. It's a decent connection too. I have 3 PC's in my room, and I can use them all to the university's network as separate clients with no problem. I use USB dongles for all three.

But here's what I thought. Since I am already using USB dongles for this task, can I possibly use more than one dongle on one computer, and then somehow merge the connections I get from them?
Theoretically, what I need is a software that creates a virtual connection that is fed by two (or possibly even more) connections. The software also has to manage packet distribution over the incoming connections from the dongles.

So, thoughts? Ideas?

It's called load balancing. Typically done on a server or high end router.
