Default Need help reconfiguring wi-fi!

Was hoping to get some direction with the wireless settings on my Dell laptop. Last night I tried looking up my WEP (or WPA?) to allow a visitor in my home access to my wireless Linksys router. In the process, I somehow screwed up the settings and now I can't even get a wireless signal and when I do, I can't connect to IE.

Anyone know how to set up wireless, via a Linksys E1200 router? Basically, I need to start over and nothing I can find online is helping.

Thanks for your help!

You may just have to do a hard reset with the reset button and default the unit to original settings and start over by connecting to it with an ethernet cable.

I would recommend a hard reset and hook up an ethernet cable up to it and reconnect it

Default Passphrase

My old Zyxel wireless adsl router had the WPA/WPA2 passphrase printed on the label. My new TP-Link 3G router, the passphrase is found in the 'Security' menu, has this become a norm ?.

Nice feature on the TP-Link is the Quick Security Setup button for compatible adaptors, unfortunately my equipment is old technology.

I keep a memo on my cell phone and pc of the router's IP address and passphrase.
