Default NOOB:: Repeating the varsity's wifi into student house..please help

Ok...Our situation:

The university has a wireless network that uses VPN connections, but reception is just too weak in our house to connect. We are 3 students and are looking to put up a big antenna on the roof with a "repeater" that sends the signal into the house so we can connect. Problem is, I don't know what routers they use. Is this possible. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Default wifi repeaters

Thats no problem at all , just use one of these units, its a bit more powerful than most , but its software has 4 settings , AP, wireless client, repeater, and bridge, Simply put the unit in the window [ or you could get a outdoor unit too] and connect as wireless client. Then select repeater and apply, Now you will have a strong signal and the same SSID as the original AP unit on the same channel also. enjoy , www.zigwire.net
