I need to bridge the 802.11b/g networks in two houses in the UK - the internet connection is in one house and I need to access it from the other. The houses are about 75m apart, with one row of trees obscuring the direct LoS. In the receiving house is an Apple-based WDS, using an Airport Extreme base station. So I'd like recommendations for:
- what AP/bridge I should use in the internet-connected house (I'm looking at the linksys WAP54G).
- what directional antenna to use with the AP/Bridge in the internet-connected house?
- will I need an indentical antenna on the Airport Extreme base station?
I'm buying all the kit over the next week, so recommendations of UK suppliers would help too!
Lots of questions, I'm afraid, but any info you can give is much appreciated.
Thanks
Richard
