range of a wifi adapter

hi everyone, i've buyed this produtct from ebay it still need to come. his antenna have 36 dbi gain and 3800 mw power. which will be his range? with some ostacles. excuse my english i'm italian . thanks i've put the image of the antenna.

a 36 dBi antenna would be more than 6 feet ( 2M ) across

that USB cable is capable of delivering 5 VDC X 100 mA = 500 mW, and they get 3800 mW out of it how?

a 3800 dBm transceiver would be the size of a VHS recorder

if this does what it says it does, it was built someplace where the laws of physics are very different from here on earth

however this amplifiere have 3 antennas if you see in the photo. it have one of 25 dbi and 2 of 5 dbi, however how much range i can have?? it doesn't have 3800 dbm -.- however search that number on ebay 150731229437

That is not an "antenna", it is a complete USB wireless thingy.

I don't care if it shows three antennas. The two stick antennas might be 5 dBi, but that center one is *NOT* 25 dBi.

I suspect it is nothing more than a 27 dBm transmitter (but I really doubt it's that strong) and a single active 5 dBi antenna. That's 32 dBm.

That is worth about $35 USD.

I know this product. His power is larger than the average. But 36dbi is exaggerated. He is a 500mW of peak power (actually only 100mW). With a directional antenna. But such a small directional antenna. No more than 10dBi gain.
