Default Reccomendations for a Wi-Fi Router w/ bandwidth/user control?

Hello,

I have a home network and am looking for a fairly cheap (under $100) wi-fi router. Coming from an older Belkin router now.

I'm looking for user bandwidth limiting options. We all watch Netflix and use Skype and end up with a user or two hogging the network, slowing us all down. I want to limit each user to, say, 10% of our internet speed allowance.

I want to set limits on each user's bandwidth speed and GB use.

This is a home network, and telling everyone "watch your internet usage" has not worked. We usually end up watching Netflix or using a lot of internet at the same time in the evenings when we're all home. I want to limit each device to a certain percent of internet usage, so one person watching Netflix doesn't interfere with the internet speed of someone else.

We're not looking for a server, just a router. Do any affordable routers have this bandwidth limiting option?

You're better off having a stand alone authentication router that your wireless access point plugs into.

A small $40 Mikrotik RB750 RouterBoard.com : RB750 using its embedded Hotspot and RADIUS User Manager would be a good fit.
