Default Router, Cables, or Modem Problem

Hi there, I'm a High School student that relies on a working internet source to help me with my classes. Lately, I have been having problems with one of the three components that helps me get stuff done. I'm not sure whether it is the Broadband RCA Modem, the WRT320N Router, or the Cable wire that connects the Modem to the Router. The situation seems to be that when I connect the Computer directly to the Modem, I am able to access the web. When I connect the router to the modem and attempt to do things wirelessly, I face problems as the modem keeps resetting itself multiple times. Any solutions?
