Very slow Wireless Connection/Please help
Hey guys. I suddenly moved to a new city and here the adsl connection is too low, they say the main station is too far away from where I live so now I'm getting 130kb/s
My housemates already have internet connection and its good and I can use it and I did a few days ago but it was even slower than what I've rite now so I returned the usb stick.
Now I'm forced to make that work somehow.
They have motorola moderm and the router is from sitecome.
Now I'm using home pc so I do need a network card to use the wireless internet. Which one should I buy? Because the usb stick was too slow.
I've a sitecome 300n router so I bought sitecome usb adapter 3x.
when I used this usb, the signal was too weak and the speed showed was 2 mb although I'm not sure if that was even 2mb.
I don't know the exact problem or how to speed it up.
There are other 2 users with whom I'm sharing this wireless internet, they're my roommates.
+ I heard to change my channel but I went to the configuration page and the channel is written there but there is no drop down menu to select and change, its fixed.
thanks in advance.
