Default Wi-Fi access point blocking level

I wanted to ask you may know what is Wi-Fi (802.11g) devices blocking level? This is what the strength of interfering signal in 2.4 GHz band can block Wi-Fi device.

Thanks in advance.

A wireless access point (WAP) connects a group of wireless devices to an adjacent wired LAN. An access point resembles a network hub, relaying data between connected wireless devices. I think Such an access point (or hotspot) has a range of about 20 meters.

Depends on the radios. Some gear will work with as little as a 3 dB signal-to-noise ratio. Perhaps some more details of the malicious deviate havoc you want to cause may help.

Yeah, I understand 3 dB SNR. But I'm thinking about very strong signal in the same or adjacent channel that could drop/block device. For example: noise level — -90 dBm, SNR — 3 dB so it could work if signal level is higher than -87 dBm. True

But if in the same channel works unwanted very strong signal (2.4 GHz band). Let's say -49 dBm. I think there are some levels that are too strong for a device. So maybe someone know this level.

I don't understand what your goal or question is. Do you have a problem with your device being interfered with by another device?

No, not true. Some radios will tolerate a mere 3 dB SNR, others require at least 20 dB SNR.

I am thinking there is an option to block Wi-Fi device with very strong signal. Some base station or non licensed interferer could block Wi-Fi device.

If you'd just say what you really want or intend to accomplish, that would help.

For example, when you say "block" that implies you want to prevent prevent the presence of a wireless signal. Or are you trying to disrupt an existing signal to make it unusable?

I want to prevent the presence of a wireless signal. I use ICS Telecom simulation program. I have created a theoretical Wi-Fi station in 2.4 GHz band. And I trying to affect this station by other interferer. I think when interferer is very strong the Wi-Fi station can't work.
