WiFi Newbie need simple answers to simple questions

I have a WiFi Broadband Router. My PC has a Lynksys WiFi card. My wife has a Toshiba WiFi operative Notebook.
I am currently able to get online and everything runs smoothly.

I would like to be able to carry out two way communication between me-and-her but am unaware how so to do.

The requirement is to allow her to use my PC remotely in order to transfer images and text files and hopefully use my printer.I would like to be able to comunicate with her remotely in order to advise that I am very busy and am therefore not able to go into her office and sort out non existent computer problems.

Any advise and/or help most gratefully recieved

Have you considered adding Yahoo instant messenger? It will do ALL that you've mentioned. And even better....IT'S FREE!
