The machine i'm using is linux, ubuntu 11.04, i was doing the manual connection establishment between station and access point, where i successfully exchanged all the wireless management frames with the access point, and created a connection with the access point, now in order to exchange the data frames there must be a need of tcp/ip stack for that there is a need of integration of kernel space with the user space, hence got struck here, cannot ping access point which has some ip address.
