Wireless Printer Setup with No Internet.

I am looking to setup a printer to connect wirelessly to a laptop or multiple laptop's in a trailer with no internet. I am good with computer's, not so good with networking. I am wondering if I buy a wireless printer and a router if I can connect the computers and printer through a router. Or if I can just connect them through a workgroup (I've never delt with workgroups).

Also, if anybody has any suggestions on a laserjet printer to fit my needs, please let me know.
