Default Wirelss Internet Sharing Help

Wirelss Internet Sharing Help.... I am Bnar..anyone can help or give some info about my prob below?

I have an internet connection from an ISP whitch gives Wirelss Internet or What is called Fixed Wireless internet , and i have an external anntena mounting on my house roof and connecting to my PCI adaptor on my Desktop PC , i wanna share this internet connection to my new laptop which have a built in wirelss adaptor and i can't do it because the ISP implement the security which is called CyberOam (24onlineCyberoamHTTPClient), providing a username and pass to each user , u should open up a Internet Expolerer to enter the user and pass , so i mean i can;t use Router because of that security fiture , So What should i DO to use Both PCs at the same time ?

Regards

Your basically going to have to use your main computer and share the connection using either another wireless card to then connect to your laptop, or get a wireless router and plug it into your desktop via an ethernet cable.

Theoretically it should work, but I would play around with sharing your wireless over wired ethernet before I went and bought more equipment. It's possible that CyberOam program is smart enough to catch on and block that as well

Default Hiya

Not familiar with cyber oam, sure theres no way you can disable it (say just ctrl+alt+del)? Probably not a good idea to try

You can try setting up a shared internet without ics, thats how i did it using...

Hi womblme

there is no way to cancel Cyberoam it is not a program it is a page from my ISP network to users to Authorize themselve then sending Internet packet to them .
About the tutorial it is a good idea only when i use my Laptop in the same room or around , i can't use the internet line two or three room away from my base Desktop PC .
