Hi, I'm new to this forum, and I'm pretty new to wireless networking too.
So here's my problem; up until now, we've had a router that connected to a wireless router, which connected all the computers around the house.
Now, we switched to ATT who installed a wireless 2wire router in another bedroom. A bedroom without any computers.
I have Computer A which runs Windows; no wireless card.
Computer B runs Linux (which is a problem in itself when it comes to wireless cards).
Computer C which also runs Windows XP, but has a wireless card.
Laptop D which works fine.
Laptop E which actually doesn't work anymore, but that's not why I'm here.
Computer A and B are in the same area, and I planned on connecting them to my wireless Belkin router (which has an Access Point option). I've been trying to find good articles about creating wireless Access Point but alas, have had no such luck.
Creating a wireless access point seems almost as bad as getting a wireless card to work in Linux.
So which is easier? Obviously, Access Pointing would be cheaper, but I'm almost at the point where it doesn't matter anymore.
Also, could somebody point me to a good newbie-friendly article on Acess Pointing? I know I saw this one:

Or does anybody have a better idea?
