I live on the sixth floor of a flat and office is jus 150-200 metres - can see from my balcony but its not direct (there is another flat entrance covering the way) and I need a wireless connection dere
Ive got the Belkin F5d7231 Router (which im not sure if i could take the ariel of and what connection it is) and would like to connect an antenna to improve the range so can pick up the internet connection in the office
Ive got the 5.6ghz Square Grid 27dbit Parabolic antenna - Would i be able to receive a wireless connection in my office
1.The antenna on the Belkin does not unscrew but is soldered to the internal cct.bd.
2.It operates at 2.4GHz not 5.6GHz so the "parabolic" would probably be inefficient.
3.If you don't have Line of Sight between the 2 locations it probably won't work.
